Get out there and MOVE with the No Boundaries Training Program
LITTLE ROCK - Fleet Feet Sports Easy Runner is starting its fifth No Boundaries Get Moving Training Program on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 7 am. An informational meeting will be held at Fleet Feet Sports Easy Runner on September 8th at 6 pm. Come meet some of our mentors, the coaches and some of the people you will be training alongside.
No Boundaries focuses on beginners, but all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line of your first race in just 10-12 weeks.
“From the moment I walked in your store last March and learned about No Boundaries it was the best decision I ever made for myself, my health and my running,” said Vicki Harder, No Boundaries participant. “It has been great to meet people who are on my level of running. I am hooked on running and now all there is to do is move forward. Coach Noelle and Ashten Adamson my mentor had more confidence in me than I had in myself."
Along the way we’ll provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, core strengthening and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you.
“I learned about NoBo through my company's weekly newsletter. It was all I could do to talk myself into taking the challenge,” said Cathi Martin, No Boundaries participant. “For someone who spends hours behind a computer screen, has not been active in years and is approaching a major milestone birthday, it seemed ludicrous to even think about it. I am forever grateful I found the courage to go to the first meeting! Instead of feeling ridiculed by what I couldn't do, I was encouraged to reach for what I thought was the impossible dream. What I found was an incredible group of people who have literally changed my life. Fleet Feet / Easy Runner is so much more than a store and NoBo is more than a program. Noelle, Sean and their entire staff are extremely knowledgeable and supportive. The mentors are great encouragers and trainers. Each individual that participated, whether they were in my group or not, has made a lasting impact. I've learned from all of them and made many new friends along the way! While I am not where I want to be yet, I'm getting there! I'll be back and am bringing friends with me!"
The program is divided into groups based on your goals and your pace. BREAKDOWN OF GROUPS FOR NOBO:
Group 1 – Participants who want to walk the 5K distance
Group 2 – Participants who want to run/walk the 5K distance
